Galerie Gosserez is pleased to announce her second participation for PAD London. We will exhibit in exclusivity some new pieces by the designers Sacha Walckhoff, Os and Oos and Valentin Loellmann. We hope to see you on our booth C 12 from Wednesday the 15st of October 2014. 

"Someone's window" Photography Heewon Kim

"It all started from my humble wish to have a moment of inspiration with the master of the room, looking through his/her perspective. For this moment of inspiration and transcendence of time and space, I wish to share it with the viewer. The subjects whose perspective I chose to capture come from various backgrounds, but one thing they share is they are each respectable people in their own right. My works display the views from the windows of the rooms in which these people spent most of their time in. By displaying the views from the windows of these individuals, it creates a mood, atmosphere, and environment so that the viewers can experience the same desires that these individuals experienced. By attaching «Someone’s window» on the wall instead of paintings, it transports you to a differentp lace and time, or Trompe-l’oeil, and transforms the viewer’s disposition and frame of mind". "Tout cela a commencé avec mon humble envie de créer un moment d’inspiration avec le maître des lieux depuis la vue de son chateau. J’ai voulu faire partager au public ce moment d’inspiration et de transcendance dans le temps et l’espace. Mon travail montre une vue depuis une fenêtre où les gens passent beaucoup de temps à rêver devant. Il se créer une humeur, une atmosphère et un environment que chaque spectateur ressent. En attachant «Someone’s window» au mur à la place d’une peinture, cela vous transporte dans un autre espace temps, comme un Trompe-l’oeil et vous met dans de bonnes dispositions et état d’esprit."
